Located close to the center of Merano, Residence Armonia is the result of a demolition and reconstruction project with extension, reinterpreting the identity of the existing building through a contemporary and sustainable architectural language.

Completed in 2020, the project enhances the potential of the site by developing the new volume vertically while preserving selected elements of the original geometric structure. The intervention redefines the relationship between architecture, space, and the urban context, resulting in a balanced composition characterized by essential lines and a strong focus on the quality of living.

The design aimed to combine innovation, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability. The building was developed according to CasaClima / Klimahouse A Nature standards, ensuring high energy performance, reduced environmental impact, and particular attention to indoor air quality and material selection.

Residence Armonia represents an example of architectural regeneration capable of transforming an existing structure into a contemporary, efficient, and durable residence, where comfort, sustainability, and design quality come together in a harmonious synthesis.

CasaClima Nature
The CasaClima Nature sustainability certification evaluates a building not only in terms of energy efficiency, but also its impact on the environment and on the well-being of its occupants. CasaClima Nature introduces an objective assessment of the eco-compatibility of the materials and systems used in construction, as well as the building’s impact on the aquatic ecosystem. Specific requirements must be met to ensure comfort and healthy indoor environments that comprehend: air quality, natural lighting, acoustic comfort, and radon gas control.
